Founder's story

Ryan Chanunkha, born in 1999, is the founder of Leyline Processors Ltd, incorporated on 9 September 2024. He holds a First Class Honours degree in Chemical Engineering and gained early industry exposure through a six-month internship in food processing during his final year of study.

His entrepreneurial background spans agriculture trading, milling, and consumer electronics retail — experiences that built strong commercial awareness and resilience. After successfully operating a mobile phone business, Ryan redirected capital toward manufacturing, investing in food processing equipment and transitioning into agro-processing.

Founded in September 2024, the company was born from a vision to move Malawi from consumption to production through sustainable manufacturing.
